Such a pretty fellow, but all the shots I took were blown out in the highlights. The reflection from the water in the strong sunlight were too much for his white feathers. I suppose they are nesting close by but this is the only time I've seen one all summer. I guess the temptation of the bath overcame the shyness, :)
We had storms go through on Wednesday which broke the heat and humidity and finally brought some rain, our second good rain in a week. Everything has magically turned green! It won't solve our drought problems but it sure helps. 07/28/23
I was on my way to fill up the bird bath, when up popped this cute little head. Luckily I had my camera with me, and got a quick shot before this Yellow Warbler (I think.. please correct me if I'm wrong) flew off. I felt bad about spoiling his bath but I thought the shot was just so cute. 07/27/23
