Our wild peony had some lovely blooms this year, but then it seems to do well no matter what the weather. (By 'wild' I mean - found growing on its own in the bush, it's been there for years and I have no idea how it got there.)
also known as Fairy Bells, Bluebells and Witches Thimble. Yesterday, on our walk, I found a couple of these tough little characters still blooming. They really are amazing! 09/23 22 ps... this photo was taken in June.
