I could hear this pair calling while I was walking in the bush, I just lifted my camera and 'fired', thinking it would be a wasted shot (still - I go back to the days of film, lol). It's true that only one of the geeese is anywhere nearly in focus, but I think I like it anyway. 10/19/22
Our skies are busy these days, we are so fortunate to be on a main 'highway' for the Canada Geese. We can look up at almost anytime during the day and see this! I love the time they spend with us, we seem to be a stopping place where they gather as long as the weather holds.
Funny how Sesame Street stays stuck with us, even after 50 years, lol. I watched this flock of several hundred Canada Geese on the ground for awhile, so I'm sure there was only one Snow Goose in the group. Can't help but wonder - how did that happen? What's the story that this one lone maverick could tell us? Whatever it is, it's comforting to know he's not alone.... 10/17/22
