Practicing 'Recall'..... funny how a tiny piece of dried liver treat can be more important than anything else, well - almost anything else. Shortly after this idylic moment (where they both look like 2 fairly well trained dogs, which they are - sometimes) a jack rabbit jumped out in front of Baxter and he was gone. Yelling, calling, whistling and even liver treats could not stop him. Fortunately, he ran out of steam before too long and came trotting back (in his own time), expecting a treat, Which he did not get. :-) 10/21/22

I could hear this pair calling while I was walking in the bush, I just lifted my camera and 'fired', thinking it would be a wasted shot (still - I go back to the days of film, lol). It's true that only one of the geeese is anywhere nearly in focus, but I think I like it anyway. 10/19/22
