Spring is still dragging its feet here, so I am still searching for something to photograph. Now the crocus are done and no one else is brave enough to bloom... 05/02/21
As promised, these are the two frozen Crocus flowers from yesterday's post .... a couple of days later. At least, I'm pretty sure they are. I forgot to mark them to be certain. I'm also not exactly sure how many days later this was, as I managed to loose all the metadata. Clearly I need an assistant to take care of the details... sigh.... 05/01/21
I thought I would show you a before and after of how the Prairie Crocus manages a winter snow storm. This was taken as the snow melted and the crocus began to emerge. When you touch them .... they feel frozen solid, cold as ice. Tomorrow I'll show you how they looked a couple of days later. 04/30/21
