There is a wonderful abundance of pretty much everything growing in the ditches along the gravel roads in the north but it’s quite the challenge to capture it all. There’s no way to shoot the flowers as I usually do, one at a time, so instead, I just shot them the way I see them - messy & disorganized. Living free & with wild abandon! So here we have some Sow Thistle (not the prickly kind) mixed with some sort of grasses and a big old hay bale in the background. 09/06/20
And last get togethers for friends and fellow creatives at the lake. We had a lovely ‘seaon finale’ yesterday, now we will all soon begin packing up and winterizing, shifting back into autumn/winter routines in our houses ‘back home’. It’s strange how quickly the seasons fly by. Faster than they ever did when we were young. The only good thing about that is now winters really are much shorter than they used to be (or so it seems). Always a silver lining… :-)) 09/05/20
