And last get togethers for friends and fellow creatives at the lake. We had a lovely ‘seaon finale’ yesterday, now we will all soon begin packing up and winterizing, shifting back into autumn/winter routines in our houses ‘back home’. It’s strange how quickly the seasons fly by. Faster than they ever did when we were young. The only good thing about that is now winters really are much shorter than they used to be (or so it seems). After a chilly day of constant rain, we were blessed with some beautiful skies reflecting the sunset. We also had a glorious rainbow but I had no luck capturing it - so disappointing when that happens. 09/04/20
As annoying as this Thistle seems to be, it redeems itself with its beautiful bright pink flowers. It’s always struck me as odd that such a prickly plant would have such lovely flowers, but then the cactus is the same, isn’t it? You never know, it might be nature’s way to apologize …. just a little… 09/03/20
