The hoar frost highlights the tangled wildness of the Prairie, making each blade of grass worthy of extrordinary beauty. But then, each blade of grass is a miracle in itself, so it really doesn’t need the hoar frost, does it? No, not really. But it really helps when you are looking for photographs… :)) 11/30/20 www.jmcqueenphoto.com
We had a lovely blanket of hoar frost covering the Prairie in the early morning sun. Both the frost and the sunshine were very very welcome! Thank you all so much for your comments and encouragement, always greatly appreciated. Have a wonderful Sunday! 11/29/20 www.jmcqueenphoto.com
A frosty morning in the rising sun… the view from our back deck. You may notice our bird feeder, a new addition to the backyard scene, and not all that attractive…. but…. we had to raise it about 10 feet up in the air so the deer wouldn’t get it. Now, there it dangles, tethered to a rather an ingenious pulley system. Last year the deer were jumping the fence and coming right into the yard, so we had to get very creative this year. We will see if it works! 11/28/20 www.jmcqueenphoto.com
