I believe these are Jalapeno Peppers, but they look a little weird, so not entirely sure. The problem in our garden is that everything grew too much! The soil had never been turned before and I think it’s just so rich, everything went completely crazy and we lost control. This little pepper got lost under the pumpkins and this is what you end up with - a couple of weird little peppers. 09/12/20
We’ve never grown Brussel Sprouts before & didn’t know what to expect, so were very surprised to watch the plants grow to be about 3 feet high, with large thick leaves. Not knowing how big they would get, we planted them too close together & then had serious doubts if they would ever stop growing. Eventually, the tiny little sprouts started to form on the stem, and although they are small… they definitely are Brussel Sprouts! We haven’t picked them yet because apparently they are not ready to eat until after the first frost. Sounds weird to me, but we shall see…. 09/11/20
The storms are blowing in and they are heading straight for the Petunias! Fortunately they all survived and no harm was done, just another wild & windy day on Lake Manitoba. 09/10/20 My website: www.jmcqueenphoto.com
