Yesterday morning we were surprised to find our fountain looking like this - almost frozen. Fortunately, a little bit of water was still running so the pump didn’t freeze and we were able to rescue it before damage was done. I was insisting on leaving the fountain running for the birds - it’s still so dry here at home, there is no standing water anywhere. But... now we are into freezing temps every night, there will be no more running water for them. The snow should be here soon, so I’m sure they will be all right til then. 10/17/20

I love the family resemblance with these four… I’m pretty sure it’s triplets standing by their mom, they look so much alike, don’t you think? For those who are interested, these are mostly Charolais, probably mixed in with a touch of Hereford. 10/15/20 www.jmcqueenphoto.com
