This is an instant night shot. It was taken in the bright sun, then I converted it to b & w and pushed the blue slider all the way up (or down, can't remember) and voila! it's midnight! It’s just a fun image and a bit weird if you look at it closely. Clearly, I am getting desperate for something a little different in my photo lineup so it must be cabin fever setting in and I need to get out! Preferably, a long way out, like Texas or the Bahamas... :) 01/15/20
We are lucky enough to have a garage, but for those who don't - this is what greets them on many winter mornings. Plans must be made to spend extra time scraping windows and waiting for the motor to warm up before leaving. This will be familiar sight for all of us 'northerners' but for those of you in the south, I'm sure it will be rare... at least, I hope it is! Thanks so much for all your comments & critiques on my pics, and a special thanks for your thoughts on the colour vs b & w versions of the same photo yesterday. Always interesting to ‘hear’ all the different ways we see things. 01/14/20
This is the colour version of the b & w shot I posted yesterday. A couple of folks thought I should post it for comparison. I think I prefer the b & w conversion because this image is so much like another one I posted a few days ago and I needed a change. But I do like the colour of the shoreline grasses and plants.... 01/13/20
