When friends show up a little late for lunch, what else is there to do but look for a picture while I wait? 01/25/20
I took this shot of the street light on the night the latest storm began. You can see the snow just beginning to blow in the wind and if you look closely (just to the right of the top of the pole closest to the light) you can also see something happening on the power lines. I didn’t notice it until I processed the image and I’m not sure exactly what it is, but it sure looks like the power lines are arcing. I had no idea this could happen and it makes me wonder if perhaps it shouldn’t be happening! But then, no one lost power and no transformers blew out, so I guess it's just something that happens in a storm. Strange, though, isn't it? 01/24/20
The morning sun was lovely, but I didn't want to find all my outdoor winter garb, so I just set the camera down and took a couple of quick shots, then back to my coffee…. :)
