A few days ago I shared a photo of what I thought was a Yellow Warbler on her nest. Wayne ID’ed her as actually being a Prothonotary Warbler - which is very cool because I have never even heard of that type of Warbler before. So, this little bird (whose name is bigger than she is!) was sitting on a nest full of eggs…. and since then, this is who they have become! I can see 5 little beaks, pointed upwards waiting for lunch to be delivered, but there might be more in there. This shot was a lucky one - I took a couple very quickly hoping not to disturb them. They are so helpless and vulnerable, I can’t help but worry for their safety…. 07/11/20
More storms and then more storms. It’s not if it will storm anymore, only when. 07/10/20
There’s one thing about stormy nights, you get some lovely sunsets. Many thanks for your comments, every one is greatly appreciated. 07/09/20
