Sometimes it’s fun to lie on the ground and just shoot through the flowers, letting the camera pick it’s own focal point and see what you get. (Not a lot of processing on this shot... the effect comes from shooting through with a wide open aperture on a long lens.) Actually - that’s the easy part. Standing up after half an hour on the ground is the tricky part… :-) 06/18/19
The native Gaillardia prefers a hot dry summer so they are doing very well this year on our little piece of Prairie. (Playing with Photoshop brushes to make it a little bit painterly.) 07/17/19
After some really terrifying overnight storms and a few torrential downpours…. we have puddles! It’s been so long since we’ve seen a puddle, Shelby wasn’t quite sure what to do with them! :-)) 07/16/19
