We haven’t seen many deer yet this fall, apparently their numbers are way down and no one seems to know why. I got a quick shot of this one, it’s mother was close by in the bush but with the bucks hanging around, she would not let it get too close to her. The background was very distracting, so I made a more painterly version… otherwise the deer was barely visible. 12/05/19
Taken at the end of August when the hay bales were still in the fields and thunder clouds still rolled across the sky almost every evening. I played with this a lot... checking out the new Luminar 4 by Skylum. It's an excellent app, with tons of features. It would be great if it could replace Photoshop as it is so much cheaper, but I can't quite see that happening, not yet anyway. 12/04/19
One more shot of the tulips on ice. I really do prefer to post current photos, but lately all of my pics have been from the archives. This is the worst time of year here for finding anything photo-worthy, everything is either brown or grey, icy or muddy, as we wait for the snow to arrive and make things a little more attractive. In the meantime, at least I have some leftovers… :) 12/03/19
