It’s harsh & bright & sometimes blinding ….. and this year, has been exceedingly rare. 02/27/19
It seems that every day now we have snow, wind &/or blowing snow, which means that every day - out comes the snow blower. It’s slow & tedious work, especially when the snow is as rock hard as it is now, but I have to say, it sure beats a shovel! In case you are wondering, most of the ‘steamy stuff’ is blowing snow but the steam around Terry’s head is a mixture of condensation from his breath & steam from his sweating head. So yes, it’s cold… minus 34C with the wind chill …. 02/26/19
Surprisingly, we had a warm day on Saturday (went all the way to -4C) and I was able to wander around outside with my camera, for the first time in a long time. Of course, there was only snow to photograph and no time to make any careful compositions. Just shoot what you see & get back inside.... :) As it turned out, we only had one warm day, since then we are back in the deep freeze .... sigh.... Thank you so much for all your thoughts yesterday on the power lines (cloning out or not?) issue, really appreciated everyone's opinion & from now on, I will not worry so much about them as it seems everyone agreed they are not always intrusive.
