The top down view of the Purple Prairie Clover of yesterday’s post. I don’t even know why I took this shot, it’s not a view I usually like. It wasn’t until I saw it on the screen that I noticed the perfect geometric patterns. The Sacred Geometry of Nature is everywhere around us, sometimes its easy to see (like sunflowers & seashells) and other times we have to dig a little deeper & look a little closer. (You might have to check it out in larger sizes or this may make no sense to you at all) 08/29/19
Because this hardy little native plant is long living and has such a deep tap root, it does well in heat as well as drought conditions, so it is, thankfully, doing well on our Prairie this year. It also brings all the benefits of a legume to the soil, adding much needed nitrogen, so the more Purple Prairie Clover that I can find, the happier I am. 08/28/19
