But not sharp enough to require medical care - the bandaid is unrelated. My hubby always has a bandaid on his hands, it seems, so when I took the photo, I didn’t even notice it. In spite of the annoying bandaid, I decided to share the photo - this is how some of the ice was breaking up, into perfect shards that looked exactly like glass. Very cool… literally! 05/01/19
Indoors looking out… the best place to be when an icy rain blew through & dampened our day at the lake…. 04/30/19
The transition from winter to spring is a much slower one at the Lake - ‘down south’ (at our house) all our snow has been gone for a couple of weeks already, but 2 hours north it’s still hanging on. They had much more snow up there over the winter and the temps are kept colder by the ice on the lake, but I was amazed at how many birds are already back and singing their little hearts out. It’s the birds that bring us spring … often it seems it’s their mission, to remind us it will come when we are too quick to give up hope. Happy Monday everyone! Let’s make it a great week! 04/29/19
