In spring, water has lots of trouble deciding who it wants to be, so sometimes it’s everything at once - snow, ice & water…and it was a foggy morning so there was that too, I just couldn’t get it all in the frame at once. Water can be a bit of trickster that way… I loved all your ideas yesterday about what to call our not winter/not spring season - all such super suggestions that I can’t possibly pick a favourite! 04/05/19
This is my world in our ‘in-between’ season… I think it really needs a name of it’s own, because it’s not winter & it’s definitely not spring. Perhaps Nearly-Spring ? Maybe ‘Soon Spring’ would have a nicer ring to it, it seems a little more hopeful. Any ideas will be most welcome.... :-) 04/04/19
The Prairie grasses are slowly emerging & the snow is gradually disappearing. It’s a slow & steady melt which is a good thing as there are big concerns about flooding this year due to the massive amounts of snow in the south. It’s difficult to wait patiently for warmer temps -we are hovering right around zero C every day, but it looks like we could be double digits by the weekend. Yes!! Thanks for sharing my little trip down memory lane with the last few photos. It was fun to take you all with me to our little spot on the lake & I do so appreciate all your comments… :-)) 04/03/19
