This shot was purely accidental.... when it's cold out I always tuck my camera inside my jacket & just pull it out to shoot - and this is what I got! My lens have never fogged up before, probably because it's not all that warm inside an open jacket, so I have no idea why it happened that morning, and it only happened once. However... I really like the result. And have since tried to duplicate it, but of course... no such luck. 12/07/18
And so the morning finally began - on my little piece of prairie - this is how it usually looks, not so glorious after all, just peacefully waiting for snow & then spring. It was a lovely little adventure in the early morning sun, before the chemtrails rolled in. You can see them beginning here. By noon we were, once again, trapped under a heavy blanket of artificial cloud, the same way it's been almost every single day since September. Thank you so much for all your thoughts & encouragement, and for your patience, it's so lovely to hear from all of you....On to something different tomorrow! 12/06/18
The sun is higher now so we loose the golden tones & the frost begins to melt, signalling the end of the photo op .... besides that, my fingers by now are beginning to seriously ache, so time to pack it all in and warm up by the fire.... 12/05/18
