Summer 2011
In the middle of June, 2011, Lake Manitoba was just beginning the worst flood in it's history. We spent a weekend helping sandbag our campground, hoping that much of it could be saved. Little did we know that the rising waters would continue until the middle of August and the devastation to homes, livelihoods & cottage/camper owners would be so extensive. These shots were all taken June 7 - 11, I hope to be adding more recent images of the same area by the end of August.
