Perhaps you can remember yesterday's photo? Our perfect day of bright sunshine, warm (not hot) temps and not a breath of wind? Well, less than 24 hours later this strange and very ominous cloud filled the sky and proceeded to bless us with heavy rain, hail and very high winds that lasted most of the morning. It was definitely rotating as it finally moved off into the east, but I haven't heard of any tornado touchdowns (yet). Fortunately, damage was minimal here - a few trees came down and the flowers looked quite sorry for themselves, our boat lift managed to get itself turned sideways... but nothing that can't be fixed, so we consider ourselves lucky. This summer is shaping up to be as 'interesting' as our winter was, never a dull moment weather-wise! 06/19/22
