He was very still, I hope he was only sleeping.... 09/16/22
We've had an exceptional year on the Priaire, thanks to all the rain. Here we have Meadow Blazing Star (the pink one) Goldenrod (don't ask me which one! Apparently there are over 100 varieties so I'm settling on simply - Goldenrod) and the seed head from a Brown Eyed Susan, amidst miscellaneous wild grasses that I am still unable to identify. Although this has been wonderful for the plants, it's made it a real challenge to photograph.... the grasses have grown up so thick and so tall that most of my photos are just plain messy. But the plants are happy and that's all that really matters. 09/11/22
Not a plant that is Native to the Prairie but still beautiful and very unique. 09/12/22
