The waves battered our dock, but once again... we were lucky. The dock further down the beach broke in half, probably because they hadn't finished setting it up yet. The waves don't look that powerful, but they really do pack quite a punch.
This is the backside of the storm as it heads east on it's journey of destruction, not sure if you can see how windy it still was.... We found out today that the cottagers who are about a mile east of us had a lot of hail and wind damage.... broken windows and hail damaged vehicles, downed trees. I'm grateful we escaped with so little damage but it's upsetting to hear those folks were not so lucky. 06/20/22
