Unfortunately that downpour a few miles away was dumped all over the farmers’ fresh cut hay. Another frustrating year for our northern farmers - last year no rain meant no hay, this year - lots of rain has meant a great hay crop, but now it won’t stop raining and the hay lies rotting in the fields. Given the never ending stress of farming, it’s a miracle that anyone wants to do it. But we are so grateful that they do, what would we do without them? 07/24/20
Our little grand-pup, Yupi, patiently standing at the end of the dock, waiting for the boat to return. Sometimes it’s tough to be a dog. Not only do they not ask his permission to leave him behind, then they don’t tell him where they are going or even when they will return! It’s disturbing and inconsiderate, but all is forgiven the moment they return. 07/12/20
