Lake Manitoba, May 2011
We drove up to Elm Point (Lake Manitoba) to see what was happening with the flooding situation & if there was anything we could do to help. The water is rising constantly, & even though we were only there a couple of hours, it was clear that it was higher than when we arrived. This is very unusual for this lake & the last time there were flooding issues was in 1953, so one has to wonder what's causing this massive excess of water this year?
