The restored figurehead of the ship, the Empress of Japan, which carried silk from Japan from 1891 - 1922, found along the 5.5 km. seawall that surrounds Stanley Park in Vancouver.

The crow is an added bonus and obviously showed up just to have his picture taken.... :-)

Stanley Park is truly an amazing place to visit & if you are ever in Vancouver it is a Must-See. It is the largest park in Canada, over 1000 acres, and much of Stanley Park’s design was based on the planning principles of Frederick Law Olmsted, the designer behind New York’s Central Park. I found that bit of info in Wiki - I would never have guessed as I've never been to Central Park or New York.
